    Job Description

    Join our team as a Quality Inspector 2 and play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality within our manufacturing processes. This on-site position is located at our Buffalo, NY campus and requires a dedicated individual to inspect electronic units, electromechanical assemblies, and mechanical units for structural flaws and defects.

    Responsibilities

    + Inspect in-process and completed products using predetermined methods and prescribed specifications.

    + Utilize various measuring devices to assess structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds.

    + Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.

    + Work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawings, or inspection instructions and checklists.

    + Monitor and verify quality through statistical processes or other control procedures.

    + Perform line clearances after each lot to ensure all materials from the previous lot have been removed.

    Essential Skills

    + High School Diploma or equivalent.

    + 2 years of inspection experience.

    + Experience in final logistical inspection.

    + Basic working knowledge of MS Office, including Excel and Word.

    + Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

    + Ability to use basic manual tools.

    + U.S. Citizenship.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.

    + J-STD-001, IPC-610, 620 Certification.

    + Soldering experience.

    Work Environment

     

    This position requires working on-site at our Buffalo, NY campus. It is a full-time role with a 2nd shift schedule, operating on a 5/40 workweek. The work environment is dynamic and requires the use of various technologies and equipment to ensure quality standards are met.

    This is a Contract position based out of Buffalo, New York.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $49.00/hr.
