Job Title: CNC Machinist

Shift: 1st

Responsibilities

- Setting up of multiple CNC Machines per shift

- Primarily setting up Mazak CNC Machine (Mills & Lathes)

- Reading blueprints for set up and machine parameters

- Load raw materials into machines

- Monitor machining processes to ensure proper set up

- Inspection of machined products for quality and accuracy using sample work pieces

Essential Skills

- 4+ years of CNC Set Up experience

- Ability to reading blueprints

- Shop Math

Experience with quality inspection

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with CNC, Micrometer, Manual, Mill, and Lathe operations.

+ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

Work in a smaller shop with a total of 18 employees, encompassing operations such as CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, ACME Machines, and Hydromat machining. The first shift starts at 5 a.m. or 6 a.m., with 4-10 hour shifts from Monday to Thursday. Overtime may be required on Fridays and weekends. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Painesville, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $38.00/hr.
