Job Title: Avionics Technician
Job Description
The Avionics Technician will operate primarily at the OnSite Aircraft Maintenance location, performing maintenance and troubleshooting on corporate and private aircraft both in the hangar and during AOG (Aircraft on Ground) rotations. This role includes responsibilities at various STL locations, including commercial and GA aircraft as needed. The technician will be responsible for managing all aspects of the projects they are assigned to, providing updates to relevant parties, and ensuring aircraft are back in service efficiently.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting on corporate and private aircraft in the hangar and during AOG rotations.
+ Participate in weekly on-call/AOG rotations and handle AOG calls as needed.
+ Manage projects in the hangar or on the road, providing timely updates to all stakeholders.
+ Perform preflight and post-flight checks on the charter fleet, which includes PC 12s, turbo props, and light/medium jets.
+ Interact with third-party MROs managing other servicing operations for the fleet.
+ Perform tasks efficiently and to high-quality standards, utilizing technical data relevant to the work performed.
+ Familiarize thoroughly with the Quality Control systems and procedures of the Repair Station/Quality Control Manual.
+ Complete aircraft maintenance paperwork and forms as per RSM/QCM guidelines.
+ Support Aircraft Crew Chief with shift turnover requirements and collaborate with Customer Project Supervisor to achieve on-time and on-budget work scope objectives.
+ Maintain good housekeeping practices using a 5S system.
Essential Skills
+ Avionic experience.
+ 3+ years of troubleshooting experience.
+ Experience communicating directly with corporate flight departments, maintenance controllers, and customers.
+ Quality written/documentation skills exceeding standard log books.
+ Experience with corporate/private airframes and piston aircraft is strongly preferred.
+ 91.411 and 91.413 inspections experience.
+ Quality verbal and written communication skills.
+ Must have own tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ AOG experience is strongly preferred but not required.
+ Experience with Stephens, West Star MRT, Gulfstream Fast, Jet East, Net Jets, Flex Jet is beneficial.
+ Interest in AOG work is encouraged even without previous experience.

Work Environment
The work environment requires flexibility as technicians may work any day of the week, including weekends and overtime. A weekly 7 on/7 off on-call schedule is in place for travel, with non-call weeks involving standard hangar work. The standard hours are Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with flexibility as needed. The company emphasizes quality and quick return to service. Technicians may travel within a 300-mile radius to locations like Chicago, Kansas City, Indianapolis, Nashville, Little Rock, and Des Moines, often working in teams during AOG calls. The work environment is non-climate controlled.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $50.00/hr.
