Job Title:** **General Production Worker

Job Summary:

Mears Fertilize is seeking reliable and hardworking General Production Workers to support daily operations at our Wichita facility. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start or grow their career in industrial manufacturing and production.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Operate industrial vehicles such as forklifts and powered industrial trucks in a safe and efficient manner.

+ Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and products.

+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area.

+ Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.

+ Perform basic quality checks and report any issues to supervisors.

+ Support team members in various production tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

+ Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is a plus but not required.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

+ Willingness to undergo background and drug screening.

+ Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

+ Must be punctual and dependable.

Compensation & Schedule:

+ Competitive hourly wage based on experience.

+ Industrial burden rate: 28.0% (as per internal cost structure).

+ Full-time position with potential for overtime.

+ Weekly schedule with flexibility based on production needs.
