    Job Title: Forklift Operator

    Job Description

    As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating sit-down or stand-up forklifts to maneuver materials to and from operators to various warehouse locations. You will also load and unload trucks, maintain accurate and legible records, and adhere to all company safety, food safety, quality, and regulatory policies and procedures.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts efficiently.

    + Maneuver materials to and from various warehouse locations.

    + Load and unload trucks with product.

    + Maintain accurate and legible records and documentation.

    + Adhere to all company safety, food safety, quality, and regulatory policies and procedures.

    + Stage product for mixing and roasting operators.

    Essential Skills

    + 1+ year of forklift experience.

    + Experience in material handling.

    + Familiarity with sit-down and stand-up forklifts.

    + 1+ year of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in a food manufacturing environment is a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    This role operates in a food manufacturing environment where adherence to GMPs, including wearing hair nets, beard nets, smocks, and steel-toed shoes, is required. The 2nd shift is from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm. During the busy season from August to December, overtime is likely, requiring 50-60 hours a week, including potential Saturday shifts. Regular season hours are 40-50 hours per week, with occasional Saturday work.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $35360.00 - $43680.00/yr.
