Journeyman Electrician - Grand Rapids, MI

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our industrial maintenance team in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. This role involves coordinating within the plant for preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshooting electrical issues, and installing new equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, and automation equipment including conveyance and robotic pick-and-place end-of-arm tooling.

Key Responsibilities

+ Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules within the plant.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues effectively.

+ Install and configure new industrial equipment.

+ Work with PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, and automation equipment.

+ Maintain and repair conveyance systems and robotic pick-and-place tooling.

Skills & Qualifications

+ Journeyman Electrician card.

+ Experience in an industrial setting.

+ Proficiency with PLCs, VFDs, and motor control systems.

+ Experience in plastic injection or blow molding is a plus.

+ Strong troubleshooting skills in an industrial environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $93600.00/yr.
