Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Manager to lead and oversee the Quality Assurance policies, programs, and initiatives for our Georgia and Michigan Quality departments. This role requires extensive experience and judgment to ensure quality standards are met and involves directing both teams to accomplish these goals.
Responsibilities
+ Direct and coordinate quality activities at Michigan and Georgia plants.
+ Develop and implement an annual Quality Department business plan and budget.
+ Establish and direct quality policy and procedures.
+ Maintain regular communication with Senior Management and other stakeholders to sustain consensus on quality management issues.
+ Approve budgets and expenses for the Quality department.
+ Assign or delegate responsibilities within the Quality department.
+ Review and provide feedback on reports submitted by staff.
+ Promote innovation and continuous improvement activities.
+ Coordinate and direct projects, ensuring successful integration of technical activities.
+ Analyze technology and resource needs to assess project feasibility.
+ Oversee installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of quality equipment.
+ Direct, review, and approve product and gage design changes.
+ Recruit, assign, direct, and evaluate staff, ensuring their competence.
+ Prepare department budgets and cost reduction plans.
+ Develop policies, standards, and procedures for technical work.
+ Perform administrative functions, including reviewing reports and approving expenditures.
+ Present proposals, reports, and findings to board members, customers, and senior management.
+ Consult or negotiate with customers to prepare project specifications.
+ Provide feedback and documentation on quality concerns or issues.
+ Provide direction and support on product containment and inspection.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in quality assurance or manufacturing leadership.
+ Proficiency in Quality Systems and ISO standards.
+ Strong communication and organizational skills.
+ Proactive mindset and commitment to excellence.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality).
+ Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a Quality or Quality Manager role.
+ Experience with Quality Management Systems and Quality Control.

Work Environment
Work in a castings and machining environment that requires hands-on interaction. Expect a team-oriented atmosphere with a focus on results. The facility is a brake rotor and caliper manufacturing plant, recently expanded to increase business and production. Adhere to a dress code of uniforms and hard hats for safety. This is a first shift position with standard hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work and on-call responsibilities.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warrenton, Georgia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $40.87/hr.
