Description

Under the supervision of the Facilities Supervisor, the HVAC Technician installs, inspects, maintains, and repairs HVAC and refrigeration systems across campus facilities.

Key duties include responding to service calls, troubleshooting, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

The role involves collaboration with other trades and strict adherence to EPA and institutional safety standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years maintenance experience in a hospital, or diversified building maintenance, or construction.

- Technical or Trade School in HVAC, electrical, electronics related to industrial maintenance or other related field preferred.

- Electrical and mechanical experience preferred.

- Must have ability to work different fields of maintenance (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc.), and to diagnose equipment problems and find solutions.

- Will require working in indoor and outdoor environments.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
