Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive **Mechanical Maintenance Technician** to support our manufacturing operations through hands-on maintenance, installation, machining, and continuous improvement efforts. This hybrid role includes both mechanical maintenance and piping work, with a focus on copper piping using traditional methods and ProPress tools.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform maintenance, installation, machining, and improvement tasks on manufacturing machinery.

+ Execute hard piping installations using copper and ProPress tools.

+ Support operations with large reactors, which includes large reactors, a still, and a centrifuge for bulk processing.

+ When not assigned to Building 6, assist with general maintenance tasks in the **main building** , similar to other maintenance mechanics.

+ Review, calibrate, and verify equipment performance to ensure optimal functionality.

+ Troubleshoot mechanical issues and coordinate the implementation of tools, jigs, and fixtures.

+ Execute corrective actions and complete scheduled preventive maintenance activities.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

+ Minimum **3 years of mechanical maintenance experience** in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

+ Experience with **copper piping** and **ProPress tool usage** .

+ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a structured, logical approach.

+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting **technical drawings and schematics** .

+ Physical capability to lift and move equipment/materials up to **50 lbs daily** .

+ Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet departmental goals.

+ **Shift:** 1st Shift (Daytime hours)

+ Fast-paced, hands-on industrial setting with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
