Injection Mold Technician Supervisor

38/hr - 43/hr | Plainfield, IN

Job Description

Supervise and lead a team of injection mold technicians while overseeing the setup and operation of 750-ton injection molding presses and robotic automation (3- and 6-axis). Coordinate mold changes and production schedules to meet output goals, troubleshoot quality and performance issues in real-time, and ensure proper maintenance and operation of molding equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Supervise and lead a team of injection mold technicians.

+ Oversee setup and operation of 750-ton injection molding presses and robotic automation (3- and 6-axis).

+ Coordinate mold changes and production schedules to meet output goals.

+ Troubleshoot quality and performance issues in real-time.

+ Ensure proper maintenance and operation of molding equipment.

+ Train team members on best practices and safety procedures.

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

+ Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve processes.

+ Monitor production metrics and report performance to management.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of experience in plastic injection molding.

+ Strong understanding of injection molding processes and equipment.

+ Experience with robotic automation setup and troubleshooting.

+ Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in maintenance repair and tool repair.

+ Knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance technician skills.

This is a Permanent position based out of Plainfield, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $79040.00 - $89440.00/yr.
