Ecommerce Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Ecommerce Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and growth of our online sales channels. This role is responsible for managing the digital storefront, optimizing the customer experience, and driving online revenue through strategic merchandising, marketing, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with technical expertise in ecommerce platforms and digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities

+ Manage all aspects of the ecommerce business including website operations, product listings, promotions, and fulfillment coordination.

+ Develop and execute ecommerce strategies to drive traffic, conversion, and average order value.

+ Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure a seamless and engaging online shopping experience.

+ Oversee website content, product photography, and merchandising to maintain brand standards and accuracy.

+ Analyze performance metrics such as sales, conversion rates, bounce rates, and customer acquisition costs to identify opportunities for optimization.

+ Manage relationships with ecommerce vendors, platforms, and third-party service providers.

+ Implement SEO, SEM, and email marketing initiatives to enhance visibility and drive traffic.

+ Ensure a smooth checkout experience and identify opportunities to improve site speed, UX, and customer retention.

+ Stay informed on ecommerce trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Ecommerce, or related field.

+ 3–6 years of experience managing ecommerce operations or digital retail channels.

+ Proficiency with ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce).

+ Strong understanding of digital marketing, analytics, and customer acquisition strategies.

+ Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and email marketing platforms.

+ Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills.

+ Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Nice to Have

+ Experience with omnichannel retail or marketplace management (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, Etsy).

+ Knowledge of UX design principles and A/B testing.

+ Familiarity with inventory management and order fulfillment systems.

+ Background in SEO, paid media, or CRM strategy.
