    Description

    Robert Half is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our client's team in the Philadelphia area. This Accounts Payable Supervisor role requires a strong background in accounting and leadership, as you will oversee crucial financial processes and ensure compliance with company standards. You will play a key role in managing invoice processing, troubleshooting system issues, and delivering accurate reporting to support decision-making.

    Responsibilities:

    + Lead the implementation and maintenance of the Esker Accounts Payable system, ensuring smooth operation and functionality.

    + Supervise invoice processing activities and audit queues to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve system errors while providing technical support to the team.

    + Handle escalated inquiries with professionalism and provide timely resolutions.

    + Prepare accurate month-end spend reports to support financial planning and analysis.

    + Manage audit requests and generate ad hoc reports as needed to meet organizational requirements.

    + Monitor compliance issues and escalate potential fraud or irregularities promptly.

    Requirements

    The ideal Accounts Payable Supervisor candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree with Accounting or Finance Concentration

    Other requirements for the Accounts Payable Supervisor position include and are not limited to:

    + 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting

    + Prior team leadership, supervisory or mentoring experience

    + Familiarity with Esker or similar Accounts Payable systems preferred

    + Exceptional Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills

    + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
