Description
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Web Content Specialist to join the Communications team with one of our non-profit clients in Seattle, WA. This is a hands-on content and web production role supporting a large website migration project (600–700 pages). You won’t be doing the actual migration — instead, you’ll be reviewing pages within WordPress using Gutenberg blocks, ensuring that formatting, visuals, and layouts are correct and consistent. It’s a great opportunity for someone who’s organized, tech-savvy, and enjoys refining web content to make everything look polished and cohesive
Start Date: Wednesday, November 12 (10am–3/5pm first day)
Contract Type: Contract Only
Duration: Approximately 10–12 weeks
Schedule: 32–40 hours/week, flexible within business hours (8am–5pm PST)
Equipment: Laptop and monitors provided
Pay: $28-34/hour on W2
Daily Responsibilities:
+ Review migrated website pages and ensure all formatting, links, and layouts are correct
+ Make necessary updates and adjustments using WordPress and Gutenberg blocks
+ Follow established guidelines and style standards provided by the Communications team
+ Collaborate closely with creative and communications staff to ensure all pages align with the site’s intended design and tone
Requirements
Must-Have Skills & Experience
+ Proven web production experience in WordPress
+ Hands-on experience with Gutenberg blocks
+ Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across large amounts of content
Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience
+ Experience working within nonprofits or large organization websites
+ Familiarity with accessibility best practices and content QA
+ Understanding of digital communications or marketing content workflows
