Description We are looking for a dedicated IT Product and Financial Analyst to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in analyzing financial data, forecasting budgets, and ensuring compliance with security-related initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in finance or accounting and a willingness to learn about IT security products.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed financial analysis and forecasting to support budgets for security products and services.

• Develop and implement budgeting models to manage funding requests and ensure cost efficiency.

• Collaborate with IT security, procurement, and compliance teams to align financial strategies with organizational objectives.

• Track and report financial performance against budgets, identifying potential risks and opportunities.

• Provide financial insights during procurement processes and vendor negotiations.

• Conduct cost-benefit analyses and lifecycle cost evaluations for new security initiatives and technology acquisitions.

• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior leadership and oversight entities.

• Assist in improving financial processes and systems related to security program funding and expenditure tracking.

• Support evaluations of the financial feasibility of new security products or enhancements. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required.

• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes.

• Basic understanding of IT security concepts or willingness to learn.

• Strong analytical skills to perform cost analysis and financial reporting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Effective communication skills to present financial data to stakeholders.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of procurement and vendor management processes is a plus.
