• IT Performance Architect

    As an Application Performance Architect, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring that software applications achieve optimal performance, scalability and reliability across all systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Define performance testing processes, tools and best practices, collaborating closely with development and operations teams.

    + Create and monitor dashboards/ reports to track SLIs/SLOs/SLAs

    + Monitor application performance, system stability and API tuning in production environments

    + Recommend and implement performance optimization, including code improvements and infrastructure change.

    + Architect scalable cloud solutions and define cloud migration strategies.

    + Drive and Lead production incident resolution related application performance, scalability issues

    + Lead bench marking efforts and develop automated performance, scalability and reliability tests.

    + Document and communicate performance metrics, findings and recommendations across all development teams.

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s or Maters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

    + Significant experience (Minimum 12 year) in application performance engineering/ architecture.

    + Expertise with performance testing and profiling tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, New Relic, Dynatrace.

    + Experience in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and Automation scripting (Python, Bash)

    + Proven experience in Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) , Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates) and Cost optimization methods

    Technical Skills

    + Server-side Framework – Java 17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC

    + Microservice Architecture, Rest API Design

    + Performance Tuning & Profiling – Visual VM, JMETER, Lighthouse

    + Logging, Troubleshooting – New Relic, Dynatrace, Kibana, Cloud Watch

    Database

    + Relational database – Oracle, MySql, Postgres, DB2

    + Nosql database – MongoDB, Redis

    Cloud Platform, Deployment and DevOps

    + Cloud Platforms – AWS (ECS, EC2, Cloud front, Cloud Watch,S3, IAM, Route 53, ALB)

    + DevOps – Docker containers, SonarQube, Jenkins, Git, Github, Github-actions, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform
