    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced AR Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable and will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient collection and management of outstanding accounts. This position offers opportunities for growth within the company into corporate finance or accounting roles.

    Responsibilities

    + Research and determine root causes for deductions and/or past due invoices to reduce future occurrences by collaborating closely with customers and internal business partners.

    + Contact customers and internal business partners to gather information related to the collection of outstanding accounts receivable.

    + Provide frequent analysis of customer account status and updates to management as needed.

    + Review orders on hold/release reports and take required action.

    + Prepare weekly worklists for collection activity and ad hoc reports as assigned.

    + Monitor daily incoming cash receipts, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers, for effective collection management.

    + Proactively identify trends and assist in implementing process improvements.

    + Partner with sales management and customer service management to ensure the highest level of professionalism and customer service in resolving outstanding issues.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of accounts receivable experience, including collections or deductions experience.

    + High School Diploma at a minimum.

    + Strong communication skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines.

    + Experience with collections, invoicing, accounts payable, receivables, aging reports, and deductions.

    + SAP experience preferred.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in a corporate AR environment.

    Work Environment

    The position is fully on-site with a business casual dress code. The AR group is expanding due to company acquisitions, offering growth opportunities within the organization for those who excel in their roles.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, Florida.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
