Scope of Job

• Assessing program effectiveness and

reconciling assessment data.

• Working on special projects with

student government and academic

departments to build Open Education

interest and opportunities campus-

wide.

• Updating and curating content for the

program’s website to showcase faculty

work and inform campus stakeholders.

• Assisting with outreach to faculty and

students to promote the library’s Open

Education initiatives to the broader

campus community.

• Gathering data from various University

systems for evaluation.

Discipline Specific Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and in good standing

in a graduate degree program at

UTRGV .

• Familiarity with word processing and

spreadsheet programs (e.g., Microsoft

Word, Excel).

• Strong communication skills (both oral

and in writing).

• Attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Some familiarity with web design, digital

publishing software, or graphic design.
