    Position Summary:

    + The Sr. Director, Marketing will be responsible for brand strategy development and execution and the successful launch (new indication, LCM) of US oncology product(s). Will design and execute annual, short-term and long-term marketing plans, market analysis, and provide support in achieving sales and profit objectives.

    Performance Objectives:

    + Update product strategic brand platform, core messages for healthcare providers and patients and devise full tactical plan to support the new launches in assigned product portfolio(s)

    + Works directly with the sales management team, commercial team and the senior leadership team to build the strategic marketing agenda.

    + Works closely with Global Marketing Japan and US to develop life cycle planning.

    + Work with Global commercial partner in EU to ensure strategic alignment and tactical integrity of the product initiatives.

    + Responsible for the development and management of annual sales and expense requirements, product positioning and pricing strategy and budgets.

    + Work with sales management, sales training and market research to maximize utilization of resources to achieve brand objectives and align key projects with brand imperatives.

    + Responsible for a direct report(s).

    + Ensure overall alignment between assigned product(s) team and other commercialized

    + marketing teams. Develop and coordinate systems needed for marketing planning to function in an efficient and effective manner.

    + Monitors and analyzes competitive products and marketing activities to defend market position and effectively pre-position future competition.

    + Develops and maintains a customer focus including effective working relationships with key physicians, other staff groups, academic and community KOLs.

    + Understands and promotes the importance of and adheres to Health Care Compliance.

    Education/Certification Requirements:

    + BA/BS degree in science or business-related discipline or equivalent experience.

    + MBA or MS degree preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    + 8-10 plus years of oncology pharma/biotech experience.

    + Experience in training and developing others to achieve results.

    + Experience in oncology marketing.

    + Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills.

    + Product launch experience within the Oncology market space.

    + Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with and influence all levels of management, including business leaders and executives. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry which has experienced rapid growth from clinical development focus to full commercial capacity is plus.

    + A positive attitude, flexibility and a proactive approach.

    + Ability to create clear communications on process and be able to present to the most senior executives in the company.

     

    The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $254,150 - $299,000 annually. This pay range is based on the market range for positions of this type. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including annual bonus/incentive comp plans, potential long term incentive plan, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate/employee receives an offer of employment.

     

    If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
