    Job Duties and Responsibilities

     

    We’re looking for a detail-oriented and innovative Business Operations Analyst III to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and automating data pipelines, building interactive dashboards, and delivering accurate reports that support key business decisions. The ideal candidate is skilled in ETL processes, data modeling, and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau, with a strong ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights. You’ll collaborate across departments to streamline reporting workflows, enhance data accuracy, and drive automation that improves efficiency and scalability. This position reports directly to the Sr Operations Analyst.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Design, develop, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from multiple sources into centralized data warehouses and reporting systems

    + Automate data workflows and reporting processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability across business operations

    + Develop, enhance, and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights to leadership and stakeholders

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Finance, IT, and Analytics) to identify data needs, define KPIs, and deliver effective data-driven solutions

    + Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability through validation, monitoring, and the implementation of data quality controls

    + Design and optimize data models and queries to support efficient reporting and dashboard performance

    + Leverage BI tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker) to create interactive and visually compelling dashboards

    + Implement and manage automation solutions (using tools like Python, SQL, Power Automate, Airflow, or similar) to streamline recurring data and reporting tasks

    + Develop documentation and standard operating procedures for ETL processes, dashboards, and reporting workflows

    + Continuously evaluate and improve data systems by identifying opportunities for automation, standardization, and innovation

    + Support data governance and compliance efforts by adhering to organizational data standards, policies, and security practices

    + Provide ad hoc analysis and insights to support strategic initiatives, business reviews, and executive decision-making

    + Perform other duties as assigned

     

    Skills, Experience and Requirements

    Education & Experience:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field

    + 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, ETL development, or related roles

    Skills and Qualifications:

    + Proven experience designing and maintaining ETL processes and building BI dashboards and reports

    + Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and optimization

    + Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, or custom Python/SQL pipelines)

    + Proficiency with BI and visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker

    + Experience with automation tools or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Power Automate, Airflow, or similar)

    + Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Azure Synapse)

    + Strong understanding of reporting design principles, including usability, performance optimization, and visual storytelling

    + Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver actionable insights

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy

    + Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders

    + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

    Salary Ranges

     

    Compensation: $72,622.50/Year - $103,500.00/Year

    The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
