The Senior Product Manager (LOS/POS) leads the roadmap, feature definition, and delivery for ICE Mortgage Technology Encompass, point‑of‑sale platforms, and the surrounding integration ecosystem. This role blends product management and systems business analysis to translate business goals into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and to own the JIRA backlog from inception through release. You will partner closely with lending operations, underwriting, secondary marketing, closing/funding, compliance, and engineering to evolve and maintain high‑quality, scalable modules and workflows across the mortgage origination lifecycle. Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable federal and state laws and regulations. The target pay range for this position is $130,000. to $150,000.
What you’ll do:
Own product strategy & roadmap for Encompass LOS, POS, and key integrations (AUS, pricing, docs, compliance, verifications, data & reporting).
Act as systems business analyst: map current/future‑state workflows, decompose problems, write epics/stories with acceptance criteria, data mappings, and edge cases.
Backlog ownership in JIRA: prioritize effectively against business value, risk, and complexity; maintain release plans, sprint goals, and transparent status.
Discovery & design: facilitate workshops, develop prototypes/wireframes, run solution reviews, and lead decision records that teams can rally around.
Delivery leadership: run or partner on agile ceremonies; sequence dependencies; ensure high‑quality builds; coordinate QA/UAT and sign‑offs with business owners.
Module stewardship: understand configuration, personas, input forms, business rules, milestones, and plugin impacts; manage change without destabilizing production.
Vendor & platform partnership: collaborate with Encompass admins/developers and external vendors; evaluate/introduce add‑ons where they strengthen capability.
Compliance & controls: ensure solutions align with lending policy and regulatory expectations (e.g., disclosures, data integrity, auditability).
Metrics & outcomes: define OKRs/KPIs (cycle time, pull‑through, defect rates, user satisfaction), monitor product health, and drive continuous optimization.
Communication: craft succinct, direct updates for executives and stakeholders; articulate a clear product direction and tradeoffs.
Product Owner on small efforts: serve as PO for smaller projects, including grooming, story acceptance, and release readiness.
Operational readiness: coordinate training, release notes, and support playbooks; ensure post‑release monitoring and rapid defect triage/root cause.
Cross‑team alignment: partner with PMO, InfoSec, Data, and Enterprise Architecture to reuse capabilities and build scalable, reusable components.
What you’ll need:
Deep mortgage origination knowledge across intake, disclosures, processing, underwriting, closing/funding, and post‑closing.
Encompass LOS expertise (process flows, fields, business rules, personas, input forms) and familiarity with POS platforms and related lending technologies.
Systems BA strength: process modeling, data mapping, acceptance criteria, UAT planning, defect triage, and change management.
Agile product delivery with JIRA/Confluence; ability to turn ambiguity into a clear, executable backlog.
Technical fluency with integrations/APIs, web services/webhooks, and data structures; working SQL for analysis and validation.
Decisiveness & influence: form clear, well‑reasoned decisions that stakeholders can rally behind; escalate and unblock effectively.
Communication: speaks succinctly and directly; tailors message to executives, business users, and engineers.
Customer orientation: empathetic to end users and operational realities; balances experience, compliance, and efficiency.
Leadership without authority: guide matrixed teams; mentor junior PMs/BAs; set high standards for documentation and delivery quality.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
7+ years in product management and/or systems business analysis, with 3+ years focused on Encompass LOS or comparable LOS.
Prior experience delivering capabilities across LOS, POS, pricing/AUS, doc prep/eClose, verifications, and reporting/analytics.
Demonstrated success owning roadmaps and shipping production features in an agile environment.
Bachelor’s degree (Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related) or equivalent experience.
Nice to have: Encompass/ICE platform certifications; Scrum/PO certifications (CSPO/PSPO); experience with data governance and compliance in lending.
