This opportunity is for a Program Supervisor to oversee a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program. This is a recovery program for individuals 18 and older who are living with a mental illness. Psych Rehab assists individuals to pursue personally-valued roles in their living, learning, working, or social environments. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This role functions as the Program Supervisor for the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program, which aims to foster self-sufficiency and independence among adult participants. The program delivers psychiatric rehabilitation services to eligible individuals in various settings, including their homes, community environments, and facility-based programs. The supervisor is responsible for the overall management and oversight of the program, including direct supervision of staff and the services they provide. This includes the development and implementation of tailored psychiatric rehabilitation programming for participants. The supervisor is expected to engage in relevant training and collaborate with state personnel to stay informed about best practices in the field. Additionally, the supervisor provides guidance to both staff and participants on recovery and rehabilitation topics, works closely with the Co. Casework Manager 2 on program planning and development, and is involved in the hiring, training, and evaluation of staff to ensure they fulfill their roles effectively. Regular reviews of performance standards and progress assessments for staff are essential, as is the completion of necessary administrative tasks such as timesheets and expense reports. The supervisor also plays a key role in maintaining relationships with community organizations, ensuring that the principles of psychiatric rehabilitation are integrated into all program practices, and developing comprehensive policies and procedures for program implementation and service delivery. Furthermore, the supervisor oversees case management services provided to participants, monitors documentation, and prepares reports to ensure compliance and effectiveness within the program.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
+ Full-time employment
+ Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. On occasion, management staff may need to work hours outside of the set work week to complete projects, meet work demands or in the event of an emergency.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
+ Two years of professional experience in public or private social work and a bachelor's degree with major course work in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or
+ Any equivalent combination of experience and education which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.
