    _Our client, a global leader in bioprocessing, is looking for a skilled assembler to join their team in L.A County, CA! This is a great opportunity for a more entry-level candidate looking to gain assembly experience with a leading life science company._

     

    **Pay rate:** $20 - 21/hr.

    **Job type:** 6-month contract

    **Schedule:** 2 nd shift

    **Location:** Los Angeles County, California

    Overview:

    This is a hands-on manufacturing role focused on assembling fiber and filtration components for medical or industrial devices. The assembler must follow detailed instructions to ensure high product quality and compliance with manufacturing standards. This role is entry-level and works under the guidance of more experienced assemblers and supervisors.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Assemble fiber, filtration, and plastic components manually and with tools.

    + Follow work instructions, blueprints, and manufacturing procedures.

    + Conduct visual inspections and routine testing for quality assurance.

    + Operate and maintain small hand tools and some automated equipment.

    + Clean workstations and follow Good Manufacturing and Documentation Practices (GMP/GDP).

    + Package finished goods and kits per Bill of Materials (BOM).

    + Work across multiple product lines as needed.

    + Identify and report quality issues promptly.

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent required.

    + 0–1 year of manufacturing experience preferred (medical device industry is a plus).

    + Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.

    + Comfortable with repetitive tasks and working in a cleanroom environment.

    Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

    + Regular standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs occasionally).

    + Good hand-eye coordination and visual acuity (depth perception and peripheral vision).

    + Exposure to moving machinery, vibration, and occasionally chemicals or airborne particles.

    + Work is done in a cleanroom environment with loud noise levels.
