**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career customer-oriented **Engineering Technician** to join our team in **Panama City, FL** . This is an **on-site** position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and rough sketches

+ Use drawings and specifications to plan welding operations

+ Performs such tasks as welding aluminum, stainless steel, and Inconel

+ Fabricating, assembling or installing equipment or parts

+ Performs assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed

+ Selects or adapts standard procedures or equipment, using fully applicable precedents

+ Receives initial instructions, equipment requirements, and advice from supervisor or engineer as needed

+ Performs recurring work independently

Minimum Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma with 1+ years of relevant experience

+ 1+ years of experience in using a variety of hand tools, precision measuring instruments and welding tools and equipment

+ Experience in MIG/TIG welding of aluminum, stainless steel, and Inconel components

+ Ability to pass the NAVSEA certification test in welding techniques for aluminum welding

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Ability to work in confined/restricted spaces

+ Experience in MIG/TIG welding of aluminum, stainless steel, and Inconel components

+ Be able to communicate professionally with ManTech employees and ManTech clients

+ Experience assessing and reporting findings

+ Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

+ Proficient in written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills

Clearance Requirements:

+ U.S. Citizenship required and an active Secret security clearance or ability to get an Interim secret before starting

+ Required to get a CAC badge as well as Base Security Access approval

Physical Requirements:

+ Ability to lift and carry 50 Lbs.

+ Work extensive time in stationary positions.

+ Climb and descend ladders.
