_Senior .NET Developer with Azure or AWS (Hybrid)_

As a Senior .NET Core Developer, you will make an impact by contributing to the architecture and design of software systems, ensuring scalability and maintainability. You will be a valued member of the Digital Engineering team and work collaboratively with the manager and stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

+ Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using SQL Server C# and .Net Framework to meet business requirements.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable applications on the Azure platform.

+ Analyze and optimize SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.

+ Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adhere to best practices.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve software defects to ensure smooth operation of applications.

+ Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

+ Ensure software solutions are aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster their growth.

+ Engage in regular communication with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates.

+ Utilize domain knowledge in Asset & Wealth Management to enhance software functionality and user experience.

+ Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and maintain system integrity.

+ Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.

+ Document software designs processes and user guides for future reference.

**Work model:** Hybrid

**Location** : Fort Mill, SC

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 4 days a week in a client office in Fort Mill, South Carolina. What you need to have to be considered:

+ Maintain a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in software engineering.

+ Possess strong expertise in SQL Server C# SQL Azure and .Net Framework.

+ Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

+ Show ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.

+ Display strong communication and collaboration skills.

+ Have a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies.

+ Demonstrate experience in Asset & Wealth Management is a plus.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between **_$68K – $135K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate._**

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
