RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Operate and maintain various presses, CNC Lathes, manual drilling and lathe equipment. Must be able to use calipers, tape measure, and other gauges. Make minor adjustments as required to meet quality specifications. Must be able to assist other operators as needed.
+ Work from written & verbal instruction, drawings, schedules and shop orders. Make machine adjustments and set-up machines as required. Check work using a scale, calipers, micrometers, depth-gages and report specific deviations.
+ Report faulty equipment, defective material and unusual conditions to the Supervisor, Team Leader or designated person. Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations. Maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned or directed, which may require more than the regular normal shift hours and/or work week schedule to meet company needs.

REQUIREMENTS:
+ High School diploma or equivalent. Additional experience, training or formal education is beneficial.
+ Blue print reading (Basic), able to use fixed gauges and measuring tools to check parts, industrial math, and basic reading and writing skills.
+ Must be able to work overtime on short notice, and be able to maintain a flexible work schedule as demand dictates. Ability to work effectively in a team environment required. Other duties as assigned. Must have good attendance. Forklift experience preferred
+ Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced; multi-tasking environment and meet operational deadlines.
+ Must be self-motivated, safety and quality conscious, and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
+ Heavy lifting required (50 plus lbs). Lift truck operator experience required.
+ Good communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
