Are you a compassionate and skilled nurse looking to make a difference in a school setting? Join our team as a School Nurse and play a vital role in supporting student health and wellness. This position involves delivering high-quality care, applying the nursing process, and potentially supervising contracted services within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct care and health services to students in accordance with physician orders and Amergis Healthcare Staffing's standards and policies.

- Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate student health needs.

- Provide 1 on 1 support for a student during their school day

- Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to promote optimal student health.

- May serve in a supervisory capacity for contracted healthcare services.

Qualifications:

- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Licensed Vocational Nurse).

- Active nursing license in the state(s) of practice.

- Minimum of one year of professional nursing experience (preferred).

- Current CPR certification.

- PPD test or chest x-ray (if applicable).

- Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulations).

- Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.

- Must be at least 18 years of age.
