CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer - Microsoft Analytics position for our client in New Castle, DE.

**Duration:** 12 months

Duties:

+ Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence (BI), data warehousing, and reporting solutions using Microsoft BI tools and products.

+ Build and optimize dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, Power BI Report Builder (Paginated), Power BI Embedded services, and SSRS.

+ Write complex queries using Power Query, DAX, R, and T-SQL to support analytical and reporting requirements.

+ Implement security features and ensure adherence to best practices in BI development.

+ Focus on usability, performance, flexibility, testability, and standardization when developing dashboards and reports.

+ Collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.

Skills:

+ Expertise in Microsoft BI stack, including Power BI, Power BI Paginated Reports, Power BI Embedded, and SSRS.

+ Strong SQL Server programming skills.

+ Proficiency in writing complex queries using Power Query, DAX, R, and T-SQL.

+ Knowledge of BI best practices, performance optimization, and dashboard design principles.

+ Ability to implement security features and manage access in BI solutions.

+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Experience:

+ Proven experience in developing BI and reporting solutions using Microsoft tools and technologies.

+ Experience in designing and implementing data models, reports, and dashboards for business users.

+ Hands-on experience optimizing Power BI dashboards for performance, usability, and maintainability.

+ Experience with security implementation in Microsoft BI environments.

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
