• Data Engineer - Machine Learning

    CTG is seeking to fill an Application Consultant - AWS Cloud Migration position for our client in Jersey City, NJ.

     

    **Duration:** 12 months

    Duties:

    + Lead and support the migration of enterprise applications to AWS Cloud, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess existing applications and develop cloud migration strategies.

    + Design, implement, and optimize AWS cloud solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and cost efficiency.

    + Apply machine learning concepts to optimize workflows, predict potential issues, and improve operational efficiency.

    + Monitor and evaluate migration performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.

    + Document processes, architectures, and best practices for cloud adoption and migration.

    Skills:

    + Expertise in AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation.

    + Strong knowledge of cloud migration strategies and tools.

    + Proficiency in applying machine learning concepts to business and data engineering problems.

    + Experience with Python, SQL, and data modeling for cloud environments.

    + Ability to analyze statistical data, identify features, and select appropriate algorithms.

    + Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.

    Experience:

    + Proven experience as a Data Engineer, Cloud Consultant, or similar role with a focus on cloud migration.

    + Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud and Machine Learning implementations.

    + Track record of designing and executing cloud migration projects successfully.

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

    + Relevant AWS certifications or cloud migration training is a plus.

     

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

    The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00 to $120.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
