Job Description
This role involves contributing to the design and development of test, automation and digital solutions, including enhancements to existing systems. It also includes leading automation initiatives and driving digital process transformation at the plant level. Success in this role requires a strong theoretical foundation, advanced technical skills in relevant technologies, and demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Responsibilities
+ Lead the design, qualification, and implementation of test, automation, and digital systems and solutions to support product and service validation.
+ Oversee the development and construction of test and automation facilities, instrumentation systems, and software platforms.
+ Develop innovative solutions that meet business requirements and align with organizational strategy.
+ Collaborate closely with business partners to define needs, communicate project approaches, and present results.
+ Operate effectively within cross-functional teams.
+ Drive data governance, analytics and Brilliant Factory initiatives using proven technologies and established methodologies.
+ Lead the definition of Design for Test (DFT) and end-to-end test strategies for production processes, working with plant teams to build and execute the technical roadmap.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering related degree and 3 years of industrial experience in a manufacturing and test sensitive environment.
+ Demonstrated experience with tester development and test specification setting.
+ Demonstrated experience with Automation system or Robot design Demonstrated depth of LabVIEW or Python programming skill
+ Demonstrated day-to-day production support and equipment maintenance
Preferred Qualifications
+ BS/MS in technical concentration/field
+ 5+ years industrial experience in a manufacturing and test/automation-sensitive environment.
+ Demonstrated at least one of the following programming skills: Python, C#, C++ Experienced in PLC system designing and SCADA (Kepware, Ignition.)
+ Experience in SQL, Mongo DB database development
+ Experience in MQTT, VDA5050 IoT protocol
+ Experienced in development with Unix/Linux system
+ Experienced in development with data science, image processing, machine learning, Vision, AI9. Experienced in development with Ethernet, CAN bus, Modbus communication protocol
+ Demonstrated basic Electronic, DFT and Automation solution design skills. Strong depth of knowledge in six sigma techniques for capability analysis, trending/control and MSA/GRR.
+ Combined product and process knowledge for healthcare product. Demonstrated program or project management skills
+ Experienced working with global teams.. Demonstrated troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
+ Experienced developing tools and templates, and writing standards. Experienced developing new work practices and driving change and influencing behavior of large teams.
+ Highly self-motivated and willing to travel
