The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is seeking a full-time General Gyn/Ob Physician for a faculty position.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and established team in a department with a strong commitment to the practice of general gynecology and obstetrics. Our division has a strong full scope clinical program within the context of a collegial academic environment. Our faculty members are dedicated to patient care, medical education, and biomedical research. Clinical duties include the full spectrum of general gyn/ob practice, inpatient and ambulatory care of gyn/ob patients, gynecologic surgery, and coverage of a busy labor and delivery unit (with an obstetrical program that supports maternal transports from across the state of Maryland). Duties also include participation in the educational programs of Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, supporting the education of residents and medical students. We also have several of our division members who have developed clinical niches for themselves, including cervical dysplasia, adolescent contraception, perinatal mental health, specialty postpartum care, and early pregnancy loss. There are excellent research opportunities and many of our Academic Specialists in general gyn/ob have thriving research programs. Our department also offers mentorship programs for early career faculty.

The successful applicant will be an Academic Generalist in Gyn/Ob with strong clinical skills and a commitment to clinical care, teaching, and research. Applicants must be board certified (or board eligible with Active Candidate status) in Obstetrics and Gynecology. This is a tenure-track position. Johns Hopkins University provide excellent benefits. Rank will be commensurate with the qualifications and achievements of the individual.
