Florida SouthWestern State College is accepting resumes in search of Clinical Associates for the School of Allied Health, and School of Nursing to join our exceptional team on the Lee Campus. This position provides instructional support and supervision to students in various settings for the School of Allied Health, and School of Nursing. In addition to the valuable clinical experiences made available by our community hospitals and affiliates, FSW boasts a state of the art Simulation Education Center that has obtained global recognition. Faculty, staff, and students in these schools are active in the community and participate in professional activities at the local, state, national, and international level. As an FSW Clinical Associate, you have the opportunity to directly impact the colleges' mission to inspire our students to 'Dedicate to Graduate'. This is not an online/remote position.

+ American Heart Association (AHA)
+ Nursing - AS program

+ Simulation Center
The ideal candidate will have:
+ Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in the assigned discipline and documented evidence, as verified through transcripts and educational plans, of progress towards a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
+ Licensed by the Florida Department of Health as a health professional in the related discipline.
+ Recent clinical experience in the related discipline.
+ Proficient of health information management and technology skills, related to the discipline’s clinical setting.
+ Commitment to professional development.
+ Familiarity with clinical facility policy and procedures.
Exceptions:
+ For Clinical Associate, CVT:
+ Be credentialed (e.g., RDCS, RCS, RVT, or equivalent).
+ Have recent clinical experience in area of focus/credential
+ Preferably hold an associate degree in any field
+ For Clinical Associate, EMT:
+ With current valid EMT license, minimum qualification is an Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in any area of study.
+ For Clinical Associate, Paramedic
+ With current valid Paramedic license, minimum qualification is an Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in any area of study.
+ For Clinical Associate, Nursing Program:
+ Associate degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution of higher education, current valid Florida nursing license, and three (3) years of clinical experience.
+ For Simulation Education:
+ Experience in pre-hospital, hospital, medical, military environment, or any other healthcare experience.
+ Two (2) years of related professional or technical work experience.
