    Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum):

    $30.980 - $38.730 - $43.370

     

    The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position.  The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.

    What You Will Do

    Provides support for both long and short-term projects, which require organization, research, analysis, planning, development, and/or coordination. Coordinates and implements outreach and educational material via multiple modalities to support ongoing population health projects. Provides support for data entry and maintenance of data bases.

    Required Qualifications

    + 5 years' experience in position requiring significant levels of cooperation, collaboration, analysis, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.

    + Experience in writing and editing of varied communication materials, coordination of mailings and outbound call processes.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree in business or health care.

    + Health plan or medical group experience.

    Essential Functions

    + Internal and external customer serviceProvides prompt, accurate and excellent services to internal and external customers.Develops solid professional working relationships with various internal departments and units and, as required, vendors, providers and/or other customers.

    + Other dutiesParticipates in special projects and other duties as assigned.These may include, but are not limited to, work groups, proposals and participation in audits.

    + Project coordinationProvides manager with support on both large and small projects. Coordinates research and information gathering.Coordinates and implements patient outreach reminders via letter, IVR calls, voice to voice calls, emails and other modalities.Evaluates existing member campaigns and educational materials and obtains updates as necessary.Researches and gathers data from various sources and generates patient outreach lists.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    + Ability to efficiently access information from health information databases including but not limited to e-HR.

    + Ability to function independently and manage a variety of projects simultaneously.

    + Ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple priorities.

    + Excellent knowledge of medical terminology.

    + Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9/10 coding.

    + Internet and PC based software applications experience including word processing, databases, spreadsheets.

    + Proficient in the use of IDX and e-HR systems.

    + Strong writing and editing skills.

    + Effective interpersonal skills; excellent oral and written communication skills.
