You could be the one who changes everything for our 28 million members as an Intern at Centene. During this 12-week program, you'll learn more about Centene and how we're transforming the health of the community, one person at a time.
**Position Purpose:** This intern will learn about various processes and functions within the Managed Care industry and develop professionally by contributing to projects that support the business. You will support various project management activities under the Pharmacy Business Transformation Office.
+ Learn various job functions within the Managed Care industry
+ Apply academic knowledge and learn new skills by contributing to various projects
+ Research various topics within functional area and industry
+ Manage projects, deliverables/tasks, meetings, and create presentations/present as assigned
+ Performs other duties as assigned
+ Complies with all policies and standards
Skills:
+ Project experience from either work, school, or extracurricular activities
+ Customer focused experience, strong communicator
+ Self-Starter / Driven
+ Problem solving / Critical Thinking
+ Detail Oriented / Organized
+ Presentation development
**Education/Experience:** High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.
Pay Range: $18-26/hour
Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including competitive pay, health insurance, 401(k) and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field, or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
