    SUMMARY

    This position develops/defines, publishes, and executes project plans, work plans and schedules for Epic Access and Revenue Cycle applications for both Acute and Ambulatory. Individual coordinates and leads cross-functional teams to build and implement Access and Revenue Cycle applications through planning, scheduling, assigning, coordinating and reviewing tasks performed by staff. Responsible for coordinating, facilitating, and monitoring project milestones and budgets for Revenue Cycle projects.

    SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Leads, guides and manages the project team through the design, build and implementation phases of the Revenue project.

    • Serves as the central point of communication for the Revenue Program to ensure a common vision, plan and goals are maintained across all areas of the project.

    • Communicates regularly with Revenue business leaders and provides updates on build processes.

    • Works closely with the project director as the central point of communication. Works closely and collaboratively with other project managers and leaders on the Epic team.

    • Identifies current Access and Revenue Cycle challenges and opportunities and is actively engaged in changes / improvements to Access and Revenue Cycle workflow processes.

    • Works closely with 3rd party vendors that provide applications / services to enhance Epic’s Revenue Cycle systems.

    • Leads the build, implementation, and go live of a new clearinghouse vendor for claims submission.

    • Identifies risks and collaborates with the project team and Revenue business leaders on key decisions.

    *POSITION MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR REMOTE WORK

    Qualifications:

    • Requires an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or clinical related field or equivalent work experience

    • The applicant should have 5 years' experience with at least two of the revenue program areas which includes: HIM, Hospital Billing/Claims, Professional Billing/Claims, Home Health Billing/Claims

     

    Applicant should have 3 years' of supervisory/managerial experience leading large teams of individuals and the ability to manage staff effectively.
