    Job Title: Quality Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to inspect incoming materials and parts from suppliers using visual and mechanical tools. This role involves verifying First Article Inspection (FAI) reports from suppliers, utilizing both conventional and advanced inspection devices to ensure dimensions meet drawing specifications. You will play a key role in managing the calibration program and participate in Material Review Board (MRB) meetings to address non-compliant materials. Additionally, you will maintain records as required by the Quality Management System and recommend database improvements.

    Responsibilities

    + Inspect incoming materials and parts from suppliers using visual and mechanical tools.

    + Review and verify First Article Inspection (FAI) reports from suppliers.

    + Use conventional and advanced inspection devices to verify dimensions to drawing specifications.

    + Manage or assist in managing the calibration program.

    + Participate in MRB meetings for disposition of non-compliant materials.

    + Maintain records, data, and related information as required by the Quality Management System.

    + Recommend improvements to the Quality Management System database.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

    + Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) inspection; proficiency in using PC-DMIS is preferred.

    + Ability to set up inspection for intricate components with tight tolerances.

    + Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, sketches, and other design documents.

    + Proper handling of parts in a Class 1,000 (ISO Class 6) cleanroom environment.

    + Handling of Electro-static sensitive (ESD) components.

    + Good organizational, communication, and analytical skills.

    + Working understanding of ISO 9001 quality systems requirements.

    + Competency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

    + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

    + Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

    + Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

    + Computer skills and knowledge of software tools for inspection data management.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
