CVS Health offers an exciting opportunity to join our PBM Finance Transformation Team as a Senior Manager. Finance Transformation continuously strives to innovate around how we perform key Finance activities such as budgeting & forecasting, recording of actuals, variance analysis, and client billing. Finance Transformation also works collaboratively with larger Enterprise projects outside the PBM to ensure that we are aligned with Enterprise Finance goals. This position will be focused internal PBM efforts to improve the technology around our financial operations & financial planning activities.
This position’s responsibility will leverage close connections with Finance business partners in the PBM to facilitate systems-based solutioning to various areas of PBM Finance. This role’s responsibilities will cover three areas:
+ Financial Planning for Caremark & Specialty budget & forecast models – Building of complex bottoms-up analytical models to generate budget data for all parts of P&L in Specialty & Caremark down to margin
+ Management Reporting – Tools that enable highly detailed management reporting of Caremark & Specialty actuals.
+ Operations – Key SAP system migration & other activities to improve financial operations.
In each area, this role will operate as a key liaison between IT, PBM Finance, and our PMO organizations to ensure steady progress on key deliverables.
To be successful in this role, you need to be a self-starter with strong organizational skills, who enjoys working on difficult problems, has strong relationship building skills, excellent presentation and communication skills, solid technical skills, and fosters collaboration and knowledge sharing across the organization. A background in CVS PBM Finance activities would be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
+ Manage a team of 4 direct reports who have a mix of technical / development skills as well as business-facing requirements-setting skills.
+ Engage with program stakeholders to build relationships across the organization, communicate progress, elicit feedback, and manage expectations
+ Create and manage the program roadmap and measure execution against it
+ Advise colleagues on impacts to the program related to new products & strategies
+ Participate in program intake & prioritization to ensure the team remains focused on the most impactful work
+ Execute program initiatives to fulfill OKRs jointly established with leadership and report on those OKRs / other metrics
+ Participate in program budgeting processes and ensure program budget is used appropriately
+ Build business cases and sizing for any efforts that emerge that require additional funding
+ Manage program risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies.
+ Oversee creation of documentation related to the business processes that are included in Finance Transformation
+ Coordinate with external vendors (rarely), internal partners, and IT to ensure successful project delivery.
+ Facilitate training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
+ Review requirements documents for completeness as a check before they are sent to business for approval, when applicable.
This role is work at home flexible. It can be based remotely in the U.S. or near one of the campuses mentioned below. If you are commutable to one of the following Corporate Hubs, you must work in the office 2 or more days a week:

Required Qualifications
+ 7+ of relevant work experience
+ 5+ years of experience with Finance
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience in healthcare industry, including health insurance, PBM or pharmacy services
+ Experience in highly regulated industry and compliance environment
+ Proven experience designing and implementing scalable and repeatable systems-based solutions
+ Experience working with IT partners to deploy production-level solutions
+ Excellent verbal/written communication skills (must be able to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language)
+ Strong working knowledge of Office 365 applications
Education
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$75,400.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
