Job Title: Mechanical Assembler - $22-23/hr

Job Description

Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler in a direct placement role, where you will be assembling radiators and radiator coils for copper piping systems. You will work with blueprints and use hand and measuring tools to cut, measure, and assemble products. This role offers the opportunity to advance into higher-skilled positions such as welding, CNC, and fabrication.

Responsibilities

+ Utilize work orders and blueprints to ensure work is assembled according to specifications.

+ Complete work within estimated time frames.

+ Collaborate with a team to ensure products are produced on time.

+ Communicate any machine complications or challenges to lead/supervisor.

+ Participate in 5S, cleaning and organizing methods.

+ Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and quality standards.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in mechanical assembly, with at least 6 months required.

+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and using a measuring tape.

+ Ability to assemble products using a variety of hand tools.

+ Capability to stand for 8-10 hours a day and lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Possession of a High School Degree, GED, or Certificate.

+ Basic computer skills.

+ Knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as steel toe shoes, ear, and eye protection.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to convert fractions to decimals and vice versa, with training and cheat sheets provided if necessary.

+ Experience in metal fabrication and metal joining.

+ Experience with progressive stamping.

+ Skilled in performing quality inspections.

+ OSHA certification is a plus.

Work in a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment equipped with up-to-date equipment. You may listen to music within guidelines provided by the safety manager during orientation. Please refrain from phone use while on the production floor.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45780.00 - $47860.00/yr.

Competitive Pay: Pay range $22.01-27.50/hr.
