• Communications Specialist

    Robert Half Technology (Austin, TX)


    Description

    Robert Half is actively partnering with an Austin-based client to hire a Communications Specialist (contract). Please note, that this is a hybrid role and requires 2 days onsite per week. Please note, applicants will be required to provide a portfolio of work for consideration.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Strategize, draft, edit, and execute content for digital and print media, including social, web, blogs, press releases, newsletters, email, internal memos and more

    + Partner with leadership to ensure consistency with brand and tone

    + Establish KPIs to measure the impact of written content and develop optimization plans for increased user engagement

    + Own communications schedules and channels

    + Manage multiple priorities and simultaneous deadlines

    + Facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams regarding design and content for various campaigns

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or similar field

    + 4+ years of experience developing content for both internal and external campaigns

    + Hands-on experience using social media channels (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok)

    + Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communications skills

    + Ability to work cross-functionally, drive cohesion, and create alignment

    + Portfolio showcasing digital and print writing experience

    + Expert knowledge of AP style and MLA

    + Crisis communications experience a plus
