CenterWell Primary Care is expanding access to senior-focused care—and we’re looking for a strategic marketing leader to help guide that growth. As Principal, Marketing Strategy (PCO), you’ll lead enterprise-level marketing strategy with an amplified focus on retention, engagement and clinical programming. In this role, you’ll shape enterprise-level strategies that drive business outcomes while also providing broader marketing strategy support across the organization.

Key Role Functions
Enterprise Strategy Development
+ Lead strategic planning for CenterWell Senior Primary Care marketing, aligning with business goals and market dynamics
+ Develop frameworks and roadmaps to guide marketing investments and initiatives
+ Build strategies that balance acquisition with member retention and long-term engagement, ensuring sustainable growth
Cross-Functional Collaboration
+ Partner with clinical, retention/engagement, and operational teams to ensure marketing strategy supports enterprise priorities
+ Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on market trends and growth opportunities
+ Align with service and experience teams to strengthen customer loyalty and engagement strategies that enhance lifetime value
Performance & Insights
+ Use data and analytics to evaluate strategy effectiveness and refine future plans
+ Support development of strategic presentations and executive communications
+ Leverage insights on patient behavior and engagement drivers to inform retention-focused strategies and improve outcomes

This role shapes the strategic direction of CenterWell Primary Care marketing driving growth, engagement, innovation, and alignment across the organization, while ensuring our strategies strengthen both acquisition and retention.

Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Strategy, or related field
+ 10+ years of experience in marketing strategy or business planningwith a proven track record of driving enterprise-level initiatives
+ Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategies that improve customer retention, engagement, and lifetime value
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
+ Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including clinical, operations, and executive leadership
+ Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead strategic planning efforts across large, matrixed organizations
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience preparing executive-level materials and strategic roadmaps
+ Deep understanding of healthcare industry dynamics, including value-based care, patient engagement, and regulatory considerations
Preferred Qualifications
+ MBA or Master’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications or a related field
+ Experience in healthcare, senior services, or value-based care
Additional Information

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$138,900 - $191,000 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
