    Job Descriptions:

    Responsibilities

    Network/Cyber Engineers in support of the Space Systems Integration Office in El Segundo, CA. This program will focus on providing integration assessments and analysis across multiple mission areas under Space Systems Command portfolio. This engineer will work directly with the government supporting technical exchange meetings and briefings among multiple stakeholders. This engineer will perform ~60% of their work in support of network engineering and ~40% in support of cyber security functions. Other areas of responsibility include developing, completing and delivering annual reviews and updates; and certifying/reaccrediting all classified and unclassified network systems, stand-alone systems and mission systems. This engineer will monitor and maintain the Vulnerability Management System by entering all closed Technical Compliance Network Orders into the DISA database and closing out SCAP and ACAS scan findings. In addition, this engineer will perform Network Engineering tasks that require configuring/setting up routers and switches along with patching

    Required Experience:

    • Active TS or TS/SCI Clearance

    • STEM Bachelor's Degree

    • 8570 IAT Level 2 certification to meet DoD 8140 certification baseline

    • 5+ years of experience within Network Engineering and Cyber Security

    • Hands-on experience with installation/configuration of networks (LAN, WAN) and experience with routers/ switches/ firewalls

    • Experience setting up and installing a server from the ground floor to include configuration and hardening

    • Experience with a Windows environment to include Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and GPOs

    • Experience with Network Encryptors to include General Dynamic product lines KG-175F

    EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

    Required Education: Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Engineering

    Skills and Qualifications:

    + Experience:

    + At least 3 years of combined industry, federal government experience, or SETA/FFRDC supporting federal government acquisition with a focus on MS&A, Digital Engineering or programming.

    + Must be well versed in programming languages and able perform all duties independently.

    + Skills:

    + Knowledge and use of C#, coding programs, CAMEO, Python, SysML, and/or Sparx Enterprise Architect (EA)

     

    In compliance with California's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $135,000 to $150,000; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location and often contractual requirements.
