    We are seeking a talented Lighting Design Engineer to join our team, specializing in the design and development of exterior automotive lighting. This role will focus on utilizing CATIA V5/V6 software to bring innovative lighting solutions from concept to production, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Design and develop exterior automotive lighting using CATIA V5/V6, from concept to production.

    + Ensure designs meet safety and regulatory standards.

    + Conduct design reviews and resolve technical issues.

    + Explore new technologies for product innovation.

    + Create technical drawings and manage parts lists.

    + Test and validate designs through mock-ups and tooling.

    + Follow quality standards such as ISO 9001 and IATF.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of CATIA V5/V6 experience.

    + 2+ years of automotive lighting design experience, including familiarity with FMVSS regulations.

    + Experience in mechanical and harness design.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is strongly preferred.

    + 3–5 years of CAD experience with CATIA V5/V6.

    + Knowledge of FMVSS 108 and global lighting regulations.

    + Understanding of electrical circuits and LED systems.

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of London, Ohio.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
