    Job Description

    We are seeking an Assembly Technician for both 1st and 2nd shifts to join our team in Eldridge, IA. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling various types of assault rifles and other firearms according to customer orders. Daily tasks include the use of hand and power tools.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform assembly operations and support production needs.

    + Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth production processes.

    + Pay close attention to detail in all tasks.

    + Read and interpret production drawings accurately.

    + Utilize hand and power tools effectively, although experience is a plus, it is not mandatory.

    + Conduct inventory counts and inspections.

    + Perform general labor tasks as required.

    + Produce quality parts while adhering to company procedures and policies.

    + Meet established time standards for all assigned production tasks.

    + Ensure adequate control, protection, and use of company assets.

    + Occasionally lift up to 75+ lbs.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

    + Strong attention to detail.

    + Good written and verbal communication skills.

    + Ability to read and interpret production drawings.

    Work Environment

     

    The facility is well-lit and updated, having moved to the Eldridge location in the last 15 years. While working, you may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and be near moving mechanical parts. Noise levels can be loud at times. The environment fosters a family-like atmosphere, allowing candidates to sit at their station to assemble parts.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eldridge, Iowa.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.50/hr.
