Job Summary

Shambaugh & Son is looking for a Project Manager for our industrial refrigeration projects. In this role you will be tasked to pre-plan and manage construction projects utilizing all company resources resulting in satisfied customer, increased productivity, and increased profitability.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

+ Maintain up-to-date change order, subcontractor, RFI and contingency logs.

+ Work with operations manager to ensure labor plan is being carried out.

+ Create Mechanical Schedule and Man loading charts on all projects.

+ Consistently submit accurate, timely and complete estimates and change order quotations.

+ Communication with Purchasing and Fabrication Shop to secure schedule, scope and price.

+ Promote and enforce a safe working environment.

+ Satisfy customers’ needs to develop repeat business.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

+ Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems

+ Construction/engineering based degree is a plus

+ Willing to travel as required

+ Experience with Microsoft office, Word, Excel and project

+ Knowledge in generating construction schedule and updating of same (MS Project).

+ Knowledge in reading plan and ISO drawings for purpose of ordering material and estimating of change orders.

+ Ability to order, track, and expedite for timely delivery to multiple locations of pipe valves, fittings and specialty items required for the project.

+ Self-starter

+ Good Communication skills

+ Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
