    **The** **Role:** Senior Gas/Power/LNG Specialist

    **The Team:** This commercial position supports subscription sales and renewals of S&P Global, Commodity Insights Gas/Power and LNG services.

    Responsibilities:

    + Focuses on sales targets and meets/exceeds sales targets, working closely with internal colleagues to support Team Selling.

    + Conducts training sessions and demonstrates the value SPCI gas/power/LNG services for clients, prospects and internal stakeholders.

    + Responds urgently to client questions and leverages this interaction to train clients on where to find content they need and build personal relationships.

    + Schedules calls and meetings between clients and the SPCI analyst team.

    + Supports efforts to understand and document client organizational structures and decision-making processes.

    + Documents all client-facing activities in Salesforce and keeps internal stakeholders informed of client interactions.

    + Studies the SPCI subscription offering to become an expert on the breath of our coverage across all commodities.

    What We’re Looking For:

    + Product Knowledge

    + Have a deep understanding of the SPCI gas/power/LNG offering, including data sources and modelling methodologies.

    + Understand data delivery options: API, FTP, Snowflake, etc.

    + Market Knowledge

    + Have a deep understanding of global gas/power/LNG markets.

    + Understand how the gas/power and LNG markets trade: Price benchmarks/how price settlement works.

    + Understand supply/demand balances, market drivers and price drivers.

    + Salesforce Expertise

    + Know what client enablement looks like in salesforce and be able to diagnose why users might be having issues accessing their subscription.

    + Understand how to interact with internal support staff to address client enablement issues/objectives.

    + Be able to run key reports such as user list reports.

    + Understand how to enter all client engagements.

    **Basic Qualifications:** The ideal candidate for this position has at least five years of experience in gas/power trading/origination or fundamental analysis. Will have demonstrated experience in the above responsibilities with proven success in a client facing, revenue driven role. Experience working with Salesforce a plus.

    Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):

    S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $103,150 to $170,602. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. Commission incentive based on meeting Sales goals. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
