    JOB SUMMARY:

    Provide efficient, quality support to the physicians/mid level providers of Family Practice Medical Center and provide safe, competent patient care.

    EDUCATION:

    + Attended and graduated from a school licensed in the training of practical nurses. Upon Hire

    LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

    + Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Maintains licensure through required testing or CEU’s in accordance with the State of Minnesota requirements. Upon Hire Required

    + Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider card prior to completion of unit orientation Upon Hire Required

    ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

    + Demonstrate the complete understanding of FPMC policies and procedures as they relate to medical support.

    + Demonstrate the ability to understand and operate all equipment and tools that impact the functions of job.

    + Demonstrates ability to provide excellent patient service.

    + Demonstrate reliability in attendance.

    + Provide training of any additional staff hired as a medical support.
