The Supervisor Operations Leader will develop and execute training and professional development programs for Front Line Leaders across the Evendale campus, driving employee performance and engagement. The ideal candidate will be able to leverage their personal experience leading in a unionized environment along with strong analytical skills and passion for continuous improvement to serve as a change leader with exceptional leadership abilities.
Job Description
Roles and responsibilities:
+ Partner with operations, HR/UR, EHS, and other functions to ensure training plans align with role-specific and business requirements.
+ Develop, implement, and manage a standardized process or system to define and track all required training.
+ Coordinate scheduling of and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, ensuring a positive and impactful learning experience for participants.
+ Monitor progress of Front Line Leaders through their training plans, ensuring gaps are addressed and providing one on one coaching as needed.
+ Act as a liaison between Operations and Human Resources, ensuring clear communication and support throughout the training process.
+ Maintain accurate records of training completion and provide regular reports to leadership.
+ Utilize FLIGHTDECK fundamentals and employee feedback to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness of training processes.
+ Stay current with industry trends and best practices in employee training and development to ensure our programs remain cutting-edge.
+ Occasionally deliver or support delivery of certain training (e.g., HR policies, orientation topics).
+ Serve as a point of contact for managers regarding training status of Front Line Leaders.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years training coordination, learning & development, or related roles experience)
+ Minimum of 3 years training coordination, learning & development, or related roles experience

+ Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work cross-functionally.
+ Experience building and managing training documentation, systems, or standard work processes.
+ Supervisory experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
+ Proficiency with MS Office Suite; experience with learning management systems (LMS) a plus.
+ Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer; builds strong customer relationships and creates processes with customer viewpoint.
