+ The Obstetrical Emergency Department sees Obstetrical patients 20 weeks and greater with Obstetrical complaints.
+ Patient care is led by Hospitalist team consisting of Certified Nurse Midwives and Medical Doctors
+ AdventHealth for Women and Children has received Magnet Status for Excellence recognizing top achievement in quality outcomes, patient experience and team engagement.
+ Advent Health for Women is a key part of the Florida Perinatal Quality Collaboratives PROVIDE initiative (reducing primary c-sections) and MORE (reducing maternal opioids). Our team can provide virtual classes and tours with our patients and individualized care with our Birth Experience team.

The role you'll contribute:
The Nurse Manager (NM) is a registered professional nurse who plays a pivotal role in impacting the care and services that patients and families receive throughout their hospital experience. Directly accountable to the Director of Nursing (DON) or Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), the NM oversees the continuous operation of a specified nursing unit. Demonstrating critical thinking, creativity, and resource management, the NM achieves quality performance, fosters positive employee relations, and ensures compliance with hospital guidelines. The NM excels in coaching, motivating, mentoring, and leading both professional and technical teams to deliver exceptional services to our patient population. By assuring quality care and demonstrating efficient use of resources, the NM upholds the highest standards of healthcare delivery.

+ Financial Management Understands health care economics, public policy, and finance as it pertains to the delivery of patient care.

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed** **:
+ Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) **-** **Required**
+ Current valid State of Florida or multistate license as a Registered Nurse - Required
+ 2 years acute care nursing practice experience - Required
Preferred qualifications:
+ 2 leadership experience
+ Prior management experience
+ Specific knowledge and skills as delineated by the unit of employment
+ Professional Certification
