The role you'll contribute:

Responsible for providing executive leadership in patient safety, quality, Care Transformation, Care Coordination, Nursing Education, Radiation Oncology and consumer experience across the oncology continuum. This position provides functional leadership to social work and nursing teams within the oncology ambulatory platform, including infusion, radiation oncology, care coordination, nursing education, and social work, serving as a subject matter expert to all clinical teams providing oncology care. Additionally, this role develops and executes strategic priorities around Clinical Care and Quality for Oncology and the Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) based on consumer needs, payer requirements, and organizational strategic plans. In addition, this position engages medical directors and physician leaders to improve the value proposition of oncology care for Advent Health nationwide, positioning the organization as a leader in highly specialized oncology care. Ultimately, this role provides leadership, clinical expertise, and strategic direction for clinical care and outcomes for the Cancer Institute.

The value you'll bring to the team:

+ Responsible for overseeing the Nurse leaders within oncology ambulatory footprint, Director of Care Coordination, Nursing Education, nurse navigators and Social Work.

+ Responsible for institute operations including but not limited to radiation oncology, oncology support services, tumor boards and special events in budget, staffing and strategy

+ Develop the vision and strategic plan based on the evolving healthcare landscape, including employer and consumer defined expectations of high-value healthcare for Institutes

+ Implementation of organizational change. Participates and leads various committees and governance structure.

+ Provides leadership with Executive Medical Director to interdisciplinary committees, nursing and clinical teams to assess, develop, implement and monitor strategies for clinical standardization and improvement of patient outcomes based on national best practices and guidelines across oncology services.

Qualifications

The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed:

+ Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]

+ 4 progressive leadership experience in healthcare field [Required]

+ 4 years related experience [Required]

+ 6 experience [Required]

+ 6 of healthcare experience [Required]

+ Registered Nurse (RN) [Required] OR

+ Licensed Pharmacist (RPH) [Required] OR

+ Physician Assistant (PA) [Required]
