    Role Overview

    **Sodexo Energy and Resource** is seeking a **Facilities/Engineering Operations Manager 2** to join our team supporting one of our high-profile Energy Sector clients in **Richmond, CA** . The successful candidate will bring extensive experience managing complex building systems such as chillers, building automation systems (BAS), fire/life safety, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) infrastructure.

    What You'll Do

    + Lead and coordinate engineering operations, including planning, scheduling, and execution of projects

    + Support the Director of Facilities in managing site infrastructure, maintenance, and capital improvement projects

    + Manage landscaping contractors on engineering-related projects, ensuring scope, quality, and timelines are met.

    + Work closely with vendors and subcontractors to align project goals, resolve issues, and maintain quality standards

    + Manage and maintain the work order system, ensuring timely response, tracking, and resolution of service requests

    + Update and maintain various reports related to operations, maintenance, project status, and performance metrics

    What You Bring

    + experience within refineries and engineering preferred

    + a proven track record of successful Facilities Management leadership experience as demonstrated by articulated results and accomplishments

    + technical knowledge of the following: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, safety systems, architectural, landscape, and energy management

    + demonstrated business and financial acumen

    + exceptional customer service, relationship building and communication skills

    + strong Leadership skills with a focus on staff development and team building

    Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

     

    Minimum Management Experience - 5 years
