The Lead Product Manager role is an on-site, in-office, be-around-other-humans position in our Nashville, TN, or Santa Rosa Beach, FL office. Key Responsibilities + Lead and manage a small team of product managers (1–2 to start), with responsibility for growing the team as product lines expand. + Define and continuously refine the product strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives, key results, and customer needs. + Translate business objectives and customer feedback into clear product roadmaps, requirements, and measurable outcomes. + Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, QA, and Operations to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of customer-centric solutions. + Establish and standardize a repeatable product discovery and validation process, leveraging user research, data analysis, and experimentation to guide prioritization. + Partner with the Manager of Software Development to balance innovation, velocity, and technical feasibility across initiatives. + Define and track key product KPIs (adoption, retention, satisfaction, ROI) to measure impact and inform ongoing iteration. + Build and refine processes and tooling for roadmap planning, backlog management, documentation, and stakeholder communication. + Represent Product in leadership discussions, clearly articulating product vision, tradeoffs, and progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. + Mentor, coach, and grow product managers while fostering a culture of customer empathy, curiosity, and accountability. What We’re Looking For + 10+ years of product management experience, preferably in SaaS, fintech, or enterprise software. + 5+ years leading product management teams with proven success in hiring, mentoring, and developing product management talent. + Demonstrated experience establishing or scaling a product management function, including defining processes, frameworks, and metrics. + Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a proven ability to make data-informed decisions that drive measurable business results. + Deep customer empathy and experience conducting discovery, usability testing, and feedback analysis to guide product direction. + Skilled in cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, marketing, and operations teams. + Strong communication and presentation abilities, with the confidence to influence and align at all organizational levels. + Familiarity with agile development practices, cloud-based environments (AWS preferred), and modern product tools (e.g., Monday.com, Figma, Jira). + Experience defining and tracking outcome-based KPIs for products and teams. + Systems thinker with a growth mindset — continuously refining processes and improving product discipline as the company scales. + Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, but not required. + Maintain regular and predictable attendance. + Self-starter who can work cooperatively with others.
